Eolo is, quite literally, in the middle of nowhere – and we found that ‘nowhere’ was a very special place indeed! Situated on 3,000 private hectares of pristine Patagonia, all rooms have huge picture windows with sweeping views of Lago Argentino, La Anita Valley and the Torres del Paine - with not another building or road to be seen. The lodge has been built to echo a traditional Patagonian ‘estancia’ or rural estate and comes with all the comforts and gastronomic delights one would expect of a luxury country lodge.

Located between El Calafate and the National Park, Eolo Lodge is the perfect base to explore the region. Clamp on your cramp-ons and take a guided trek onto the Perito Moreno Glacier, take a boat right up to the face of the glacier, or take a four-wheel drive expedition to Mt Frias. Even better still you can hike, bike or horse-ride directly from Eolo either on your own or with a guide and have a slice of beautiful Patagonian scenery all to yourself.
